The process works like this; the adviser provides quotations, Key Features etc in the usual way through www.lifequote.co.uk and then completes our Express Underwriting application form. The form has no personal medical or family history questions.
At the time requested by the customer on the application form our highly skilled, highly trained Express Underwriting team contact the customer and work through all the questions and disclosures, keying all answers into the insurers underwriting tools.
Where an application is not automatically accepted by the insurer the progressing of the application passes to our administration team.
We record all calls for quality assurance and training purposes.

The Direct Market – Today most customers who apply for life insurance via the web or over the phone either have to complete a lengthy application form (20 – 30 pages) which asks a lot of sometimes quite complicated questions, or has to complete such a form over the phone with a sales person.
Direct Life’s service means that no sales person is involved in the application process and that the customer simply completes a much shorter initial form. Customers are then contacted by our specialist team who help and guide them through the process, ensuring they understand the questions, how to answer them and the implications of not answering them fully.
Customers can complete our basic application online and many prefer to initiate their purchase in this way, however they can opt to receive the Express Underwriting application form by post if they prefer or talk to one of our customer services team members based in our call centre.
